Workshops for children with Professor Pop-up

Duration: 1 hour.
Age: 3-8 (and your parent can join in!). 
Tickets: €10.
Maximum 25 participants.

Come and make a puppet! Maybe a crazy bird? A three-eyed Alien perhaps? Or a scary pirate? The choice is yours! A chance to make a collection of different Hand Puppets using a variety of materials and techniques.  So, who will you make and take home today?

Workshop for adults with the Hong Kong Shadow & Puppet Arts:

Monday 24^th October 10.00am
- Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray.
Duration 4 hours.
Adult puppeteers.

Places available for this workshop are by application. Please email info@mermaidartscentre.ie by 14th October detailing interest and relevant experience in puppetry/theatre. This workshop is subsidised by International Puppet Festival Ireland and Mermaid Arts Centre. Please note there will be a small charge for materials.

Participants will learn from Director of Hong Kong Shadow + Puppet Arts Centre, Wong Fai, how to make a traditional shadow puppet.  And then how to manipulate the puppets  (2-3 people will control one shadow puppet)
