An astonishingly beautiful show with exquisite puppets  – a mother brings her two boys to live in a boathouse because town has become too dangerous.  Frida, a young woman, takes care of them.

In a mixture of narration, performance and associative pictures a beautiful story is told about safety and loss, about childhood in war.

 Anna and Enno Podehl founded Theater im Wind in 1978 to create puppet theatre for adult audiences.  The work is intimate, evocative and often extremely moving.  Podehl  was seen before in Dublin in Hermann at the 1999 International Puppet Festival.
