In three delightful 15-minute pieces we meet a mischievous character from Chinese marionette theatre – Little Monkey of Yao Mountain in a virtuoso performance.    Marvel at the athletic antics of the little glove puppets in The Pleasure of the Pond – and run away from Zhong Kui getting drunk!

Under its director Wong Fai, Hong Kong Puppet and Shadow Art Center (HKPSAC) combines tradition and modernity, specialising in the centuries-old traditions of glove, string and shadow puppets of southern China.  Wong Fai studied in the QuanZhou tradition with the master, Huang Yique and HKPSAC won a “special award” in “Golden Lion competition” of 2003.
