Calling all Puppetry Professionals!

UNIMA Ireland meeting on Monday 24^th October 2011 at 3.00pm at Pavilion Theatre Dun Laoghaire

An international organisation devoted to the promotion of puppetry throughout the world, Ireland has been a member of UNIMA since the first International Puppet Festival Ireland (IPFI) in 1991. An unique way of making contact with other puppeteers, festivals, workshops and training, membership is open to teachers, professional and amateur puppeteers – indeed anyone interested in the art of the puppet.  Though not strictly a professional organisation, a high proportion of UNIMA members are practising puppeteers.

We invite you to come create a strong coalition for puppeteers in Ireland.  We welcome new members and will elect a Chairman and officers.  A subscription will be established (enough to cover running costs and a small sum to be forwarded to UNIMA central offices).  Please confirm  attendance by email to info@puppetfest.ie  Watch out for an agenda on our website.
