Volcanic ash scuppers Wanderly Wagon flight plans but the show must go on!
Plans to return the 70s caravan Wanderly Wagon to the skies for the 2010 Dublin Puppet Festival have been somewhat scuppered thanks to the unpronounceable Icelandic volcano but the show must, and will, go on!!
Wanderly Wagon will now travel by road to Wolfe Tone Park in Dublin 1, to take part in the Dublin Puppet [...]Wanderly Wagon given clearance to fly into Dublin city centre.
The Dublin Puppet Festival is delighted to announce that it has received clearance from air traffic controllers to fly Wanderly Wagon in to celebrate Dublin city’s first puppet festival. The flying caravan will swoop into Wolfe Tone Park, just off Jervis St on Saturday April 24, 2010.
